How to Format / Hard Reset HTC One V

The HTC One V can be formatted in two different ways. You can do it via Phone Settings. Another way is of hard resetting the phone can be done with hardware buttons. Formatting or Hard Resetting or Factory Setting is a great tool to solve many problems.

Sometimes, wrong operations, virus and other harmful apps make the phone sluggish and unresponsive. Installing and uninstalling a lot of apps also can make the phone slower. This method is the easiest one. To do this you need to follow the steps:

1) At first, open the Settings menu.

2) After that, tap “Storage”.

3) Now, touch the “Factory Data Reset” button.

4) Finally, tap “Reset phone”.

After that, your phone will be formatted. Everything will be erased from the phone memory.
